Donor Policies

CrowdFlow Foundation's donor policies are intended to explain how donations are designated, how donor information is handled, how refunds may be reviewed, and what donors should expect before and after a contribution.

Cause Designation

When donations are enabled, donors may support a specific cause fund through a cause campaign. The Foundation will record that designation and use it to guide charitable stewardship consistent with the Foundation's purposes.

Donor Intent

Cause designations help communicate donor intent. CrowdFlow Foundation will retain discretion and control over charitable use of funds while seeking to honor the cause purpose presented to donors.

Refunds

Refund policies will be finalized before donation processing is enabled. Any refund process should account for payment processor rules, accounting treatment, fund records, and whether funds have already been committed or disbursed.

Receipts and Acknowledgments

Official donor acknowledgments or charitable receipts will be issued only after approved templates, issuer information, and operational controls are in place. Until then, any payment confirmation should be treated only as a transaction confirmation.

Donor Privacy

CrowdFlow Foundation expects to handle donor information carefully and only collect information needed to process donations, maintain records, communicate with donors, and satisfy operational or legal requirements.

Partner Organizations

References to partner organizations do not necessarily mean that donor funds are transferred directly to those organizations. Any grants, disbursements, or collaborations will be handled through Foundation-controlled processes.
